Game projects have collected over $20 million on Kickstarter since the crowd-funding platform launched three years ago, New York Times data has revealed. The average financing total for successful game projects came in at $26,910, with only design endeavors ($29,409) and technology projects ($27,677) besting that figure.

In a post on the game's official site, a THQ representative said the delay to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC versions of the game was made to give the development team at Vigil more time to polish the game, fix bugs, and "to ensure that all aspects of Darksiders II meet the high-quality bar the team is targeting.

The Men in Black are back this May. Activision announced today that Men in Black: Alien Crisis will arrive for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii on May 22, ahead of Men in Black 3's theatrical debut on May 25.

Nintendo announced a holiday release window for the Wii U in January. The new tablet-based console has been confirmed to launch in North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia before the year is out.

The site's tipster said the design ambitions for the PS4 were set "at least" two years ago, and Sony is "confident" that it will release the console ahead of Microsoft's next Xbox.
